Ne visi plašajā ir priecīgi par Rei Iidas varonību. Jeb precīzāk – par šādas rīcības slavināšanu. Upurēt sevi un savu veselību komandas labā – vai tas bija tā vērts? Droši vien uz to var atbildēt tikai viens cilvēks – pati Rei Iida!
Japanese Runner Iida Rei crawls to the finish line on bloody knees after leg injury in a marathon, she made it because she refuse to be called quitter, and because of those who count on her.

The "Japanese runner who broke her leg during a relay race & crawled to her partner so the team would be able to continue the race" story is such a nightmare.
Stop encouraging self-destruction for the team. I can’t believe people are celebrating this. #Japan

How about we start by realising this episode shows the complete & systematic abdication of duty of care rather than pretending it’s just a profile in individual courage.
The leg is broken.
Everyone should have realised the race isn’t that bloody important & stopped it. https://t.co/yt7J42ltLQ— John Amaechi OBE (@JohnAmaechi) November 11, 2018
